About

Meet The ♥ Behind The Brand

I’m Natalie - the passionate force behind Birdie and bee. My sister Harmony and I embarked on this journey in 2017, inspired by our little ones and our desire for a flexible, creative outlet. We faced a whirlwind of challenges, from the pandemic to my son Benjamin’s arrival, which led us to pause the business in 2020.

But life has a way of leading you exactly where you need to be. As a single mother in 2021, I dove deep into personal growth, exploring what truly brings me joy. One of the most profound aspects of this journey has been understanding my neurodivergence and how ADHD affects my life. It’s been a mix of positives and challenges, but I’ve learned that our unique brains don’t make us less—they just mean we need to find what works best for us.

The ADHD Entrepreneur

Running on fashion, creativity & Vyvanse

Running a business with ADHD means I bring incredible creativity, spontaneity, and a fresh perspective to everything I do. On the flip side, I also face challenges like staying organized and managing time. But it’s all part of the journey, and it’s important for me to share this because it’s a vital part of who I am.

Reopening Birdie and Bee wasn’t just about returning to business; it was about infusing it with my love for retro fashion, vibrant colours, and creative expression. And let’s not forget my love for music! Growing up surrounded by diverse genres and talented musicians, music has always been a huge part of my life, fueling my creativity and joy.
