Meet The ♥ Behind The Brand

I’m Natalie—the passionate force behind Birdie and Bee.

My sister Harmony and I embarked on this journey in 2017, inspired by our little ones and a craving for a creative outlet. Like many stories, ours had a "middle" filled with a whirlwind of challenges—from a global pandemic to the arrival of my son, Benjamin—which led us to hit pause in 2020.

But life has a way of leading you exactly where you need to be.

Finding My Rhythm

In 2021, as a single mother, I dove deep into personal growth and rediscovered what truly brings me joy. A profound part of that journey was understanding my neurodivergence. Learning how ADHD affects my life was a revelation; it taught me that a unique brain isn’t a deficit—it just needs a different set of tools.

The ADHD Entrepreneur

Running on fashion, creativity & Vyvanse

Running a business with ADHD means I bring hyper-focus, spontaneity, and a fresh, vibrant perspective to every canvas I touch. While I’ve learned to navigate the hurdles of organization and time management, I embrace the "spicy" way my brain works because it’s exactly what fuels my art.

Reopening Birdie and Bee wasn't just a return to business; it was a homecoming to my love for retro fashion, bold colors, and the music that has always been the soundtrack to my life.

Art That Tells Your Story

Today, I’ve channeled all that energy into Digital Illustration. I believe the most beautiful art is the kind that captures a feeling you want to keep forever. I specialize in: Custom Family Portraits, Custom Silhouette Portraits, Custom Pet Portraits, and Custom Business Illustrations.

Whether I’m drawing a family or a brand, my goal is the same: to capture your "forever" moments with a little bit of soul and a lot of heart.
